Help Sarah Get Through Her Battle With Lung Cancer

Product description
Hi! I'm Cesar and my warrior of a sister is fighting a hell of a good fight against some pesky cancer that didn't get the message the first time...

About a year ago, my sweet sister went to the emergency room with a pain in her side and was diagnosed with High Grade Neuroendocrine Carcinoma. It's a gnarly and very rare lung cancer, especially uncommon in nonsmoking women her age. She fought like hell through really aggressive lung surgery, a hellish round of chemo, and some immunotherapy to keep recurrence at bay. She had her last round of chemo in July of last year and since then has been cancer-free.

We thought that was the end of this journey for her and life would carry on as it had before.

...well, maybe I'll just use her own words here:

December 18th scans showed zero cancer. February 10th, I went to the emergency room for breathing issues and my scan came back “suspicious”.
• One week later, I was put to sleep for a bronchoscopy and blah the cancer was present in my lungs once again.
• 100 medications later and shortness of breath getting worse, I went back to the hospital for bloodwork and two more scans (not a fan).
• My latest PET Scan came back this weekend and showed the tumors growing rapidly in size in my lungs (too fast for the oncologist's liking) and spreading to my breast and liver. Did I mention how rude recurrence is?

Tomorrow starts my treatment plan to rid my body of these cancer cells that are so obsessed with me . Chemo ✔️ Lobectomy ✔️ Wedge Resection ✔️ Immunotherapy ✔️

Thank You, Next… Radiation + Small Cell Immunotherapy

And now our family is calling on the army of angels—our community of friends and family—to help her get through this next chunk of treatment. She'll be going through aggressive targeted immunotherapy and radiation for the next 6-8 weeks. I'm trying to help raise money for her to cover all the crazy out-of-pocket costs that come along with cancer treatment—cars for daily trips to and from the hospital, holistic and mental wellness, meal delivery, out of pocket medical deductibles, and on and on. Our community showed up before and anything you could chip in would be a blessing in spades. If nothing else, sending her notes of love and encouragement goes a very long way.

Our family thanks you in advance for any help you can throw our way.
